Obituary

Curtis L. Baker was the oldest born of five children on May 7, 1955. He departed this life in the

presence of his loving family and special friend Kim Duggin on May 1, 2023, at age 67.

Curtis was born in Benton Harbor, MI to Mary and Leroy Baker. Curtis was raised in Fort Wayne,

IN and attended Fort Wayne Community Schools. He later went on to work as a labor worker up

until his retirement.

Curtis gave his life to Jesus at an early age and devoted his life to loving those around him.

Curtis enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing pool, and spending time with family and friends. Curtis

never met a stranger. He enjoyed sharing extended adventurous stories with any who’d listen.

Curtis will truly be missed!

Curtis leaves behind one brother Carl Kazee, two sisters Cathy Abernathy and Cindy (Charles)

Meeks all of Fort Wayne and a host of family and friends.

Curtis is preceded in death by both parents Mary Alison and Leroy Baker, sister Alicia Bradley,

and brother-in-law Michael Abernathy.
