Clifford Mickels Jr. was born on January 17, 1956 to the late Maxine (Richardson) Mickels and the late Clifford Mickels Sr. Clifford went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 27, 2025.
Clifford graduated from Snider high school and attended IPFW, where he received an associate’s degree in Business while working at Tokheim. He was a very hard worker. Clifford worked at Meijer as a meat cutter and he also worked at Holsum Bakery for 30 years where he eventually retired in 2023.
He was an active member of Harvest Word of Life Ministries.
Clifford aka “Swift Cliff” was a loved individual and a stranger to no one! He loved his family! He loved to work out at the YMCA, going on walks, going to the lake, and being at home. He enjoyed going to church and he loved sports. Although Clifford loved to do many things, above all Clifford loved to make money and drive his corvettes!
Clifford was introduced to his wife Sandee (Poole) Mickels through his aunt Darlene Carter who raised Clifford as her son after the unfortunate passing of his mother Maxine (Richardson) Mickels. Clifford married his love Sandee (Poole) Mickels May 10, 1995.
Clifford is survived by his wife, Sandee Mickels, sisters Jacquline Howell, Diane Lowery, Lillian Miles, and Angel Mickels. And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Maxine Mickels, his father Clifford Mickels, his aunt Darlene Carter, and his brother Norvel (Red) Mickels.
