Christine Ellen King was born November 20,1954 to Robert Randolph King and Mary Elizabeth Schooler-King in Fort Wayne, IN.

Chrissy departed this life Tuesday, April 6, 2021.

Chrissy accepted Christ at an early age.

“Chrissy” as she was called by her family and friend’s graduated from Northrop High School. She worked for CANI HEADSTART for 22 years as a dietitian & teacher assistant. She also worked for the Life Care Center of Fort Wayne for 12 years as a caretaker.

Chrissy loved spending time with her family. She also loved shopping, listening to music and dancing. If there was anything that you needed assistance with, she would do her best to make it happen. Chrissy really loved helping others.

Chrissy is survived by her children Chonda (Taracus) Jones of Fort Rucker, AL., Unique and Bruce King of Fort Wayne, IN., brothers Bruce (Monica) King of Dayton, OH., Barry King, Christopher King, Ricardo King, and Antonio King of Fort Wayne, IN., Martin King of Atlanta, GA., sisters Carolyn King, Anita (Edward) Marbury, Melody King, Tamara (William) Smith, Lisa, Millie Ann, and Mary Ann King all of Fort Wayne, IN.

Chrissy is survived by Nine grandchildren Toree’, Bruce Jr, Rian, Reagan, Quantez, Robin, Rashad, Jacklynn, and Joselyn. Two great grandchildren Ky’Aris and Devynn, special great-nephew & niece Carleton and Jasmine, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Chrissy is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Mary King, daughter baby girl King, brothers Quinton King and Kevin King Sr., Great Grandsons DeAngelo Jr. and DeAndre, and Nephew Aristotle Jovon King Sr.
