Cheryl Denise Woods

Cheryl Denise Woods, born on October 16, 1963 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Norma Jean and Jack
Woods, Sr. She transitioned Wednesday, February 21, 2023.
Cheryl attended Elmhurst High School and worked at Maloley’s grocery store as a cashier.
Cheryl loved spending time playing cards with friends and family members. She also enjoyed playing
music and traveling across the world. Cheryl was an animal lover as well! It was not unusual for her to
bring stray animal’s home. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Cheryl loved getting
her drank on.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lucy Burne; parents, Jack Sr. and Norma Woods; daughter,
Eliza Woods; brother, Reggie Walker; uncle, Joe Bouey; Aunt, Berniece Wright and two nephews,
Jeremey Lyons and Justin Woods.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Alan; three brothers, Kenneth Broddie, Jack Woods, Geno
Sims; a sister, Deena Walker and host of family and friends.
