Charles (Chucky) Dallas Sykes Sr. of Atlanta Georgia, 46, born to Diana Sykes-Warren and Charles Dallas London in Fort Wayne, Indiana on November 27, 1973. He was called home on Thursday, November 26, 2020. A man with a clear vision, a charitable heart, and a mentoring spirit. Many would describe him as a wise guide. He tried to bring a spiritual awareness to everyone he met. He knew the most important thing in life was to have a relationship with the Lord and become mature in his faith.
Charles is survived by his wife of 12 years; Melissa Wilson-Sykes of Atlanta, Georgia, his four sons; Charles Dallas Sykes Jr., Ziyon Wilson, Zaire Sykes and Zamir Sykes, two sisters Dwylette Sykes and Denise London, eight brothers; Chad (Armentha) Sykes, Bruce Sykes, Anthony London, Carl Parker, Terrance London, Charles G. London, Triant Abdul-Halim and Keith Dallas London,
one uncle; Jessie Frank Sykes, five aunt's; Patricia Files, Gloria Sykes-Thomas, Sophia Sykes, Laura Sykes, and Stephanie Sykes, along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Chucky was preceded in death by his mother; Diana Sykes Warren, maternal grandparents; Jesse Frank Sykes, Sr., and Helen T. Arnold, paternal grandmother; Pearl L. Howard, paternal grandpa; Charles Grey London.
Charles graduated from Snider High School class of 1992 and went on to serve in the United States Army from 1992 to 1995. He graduated from Chosen Christian Beauty and Barber College as a Master Barber in 2001. Atlanta Technical College Barber Instructor 2017. He was currently employed by Sperry Rail where he began his employment in 2017.
