Calvin Lee “Ricky” Walker, 61, received his wings on Monday, February24, 2025. He was born on February 14, 1964 in Sikeston, Missouri to Corrine Pratcher (Earl Folks, Sr.) and Virgil Pratcher. He graduated from Wayne High School in 1983 and attended Miami Middle School. He completed 2 years of community college at Ivy Tech Trade School. He participated in a variety of sports from football, track and field, and basketball where he received many awards and certificates for his athletic talents. Calvin was baptized at an early age and later became a member of Agape Nominated Baptized on February 15, 1990. During his career journey, he was employed at Citi Link as a Heavy Equipment Engineering Operator, then later expanded his skills as a State Highway operator, Truck Driver, and Bus Driver.

In his young adult years, he enjoyed living out his passion for football playing for the USFL with the Michigan Panther Minor League from 1984-1988. Hid favorite NFL team is the Dallas Cowboys, later he grew interests in the Houston Texans. He was fascinated with mathematics (Algebra/Geometry). He loved traveling, listening to music, and studying Black History (The Moors and Black Muslims).

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his companion, Yolanda Hughes and stepdaughter, Yasmika Hughes, parents; Corrine Pratcher (Earl Folks, Sr.), siblings, 9 sisters, Patricia Pratcher, Hattie (Demba) Jallow, Charlene Pernell, Sheila Folks, Alisha Browning, Angie Pernell, Tina Pernell, Angelica Brown, and Nicole Harris, 6 brothers, Earl (Cathy) Folks, Jr., Raymond (Tonia) Mosby, Jerry Mosby, Cornelius (Tamsina) Pernell, Porter Pernell, III, and Ahmad Peoples. Special family friend-cousin, Sheila Curry, along with many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins. He reunites in transitioning with his father, Virgil (Sunny) Pratcher, brothers, Leonard “Wayne” Pernell and Carl Porter, and a sister, Danielle Johnson.
