Bobbie Jean Harris-Green was born to Mr. Pearlie and Mrs. Ophelia Harris on December 30, 1939 in Panola County, Mississippi. She attended Sledge High School. Shortly after graduating, she met and married her husband of 58 years, Brady Green. She birthed six children; Charlene (Willie) McCracken, Cortez Harris, Kenneth Green, Sherry (Kermit) Stephans, Davetta Green, and Darryl (Janette) Green.
In 1966 she moved to Fort Wayne she worked 2 years for St. Joseph Hospital and 9 years for Head Start as a preschool teacher until an injury caused her to become a stay home mom Bobbie moved back to Memphis, Tennessee in 1989.
She enjoyed watching old television shows, cooking, gardening, traveling with her husband and being a very active member at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, but more than anything, she loved being with her family.
Bobbie was preceded in death by the following family members; John Author Harris, Roy James Harris, Kevin Harris, Davetta Green, and Rachel Wallace.
She leaves to cherish her memory, Charlene (Willie) McCracken, Cortez Harris, Kenneth Green, Sherry (Kermit) Stephans, and Darryl (Janette) Green.

Dwayne (Ruth) and special friend Helen Cooper, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces, and nephews.
