Audrey Marie Pollard affectionately known as Augamarie by her family and friends, made her peaceful transition to Heaven on Friday, December 12, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born on January 7, 1954 in Natchez, Mississippi, to Dorothy Lee (Gaines) Logan and Roosevelt Logan, Sr.
Audrey accepted Christ at an early age. She was baptized in September of 1968 under the leadership of Pastor Tillman at Clover Hill A.M.E. Church in Natchez, Ms.
Audrey lived in Houston, Texas where she worked as a bus driver. She moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1982 where she worked at Miller’s Mary Manor, the Fort Wayne State developmental Center (State School), and Lutheran Homes until she retired.
Audrey was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed playing card, watching westerns and spending time with family. She was a Master Chef and enjoyed preparing and sharing the soulful down home meals of the south with family and friends. All of her meals were prepared with Love. She enjoyed listening to music and took tremendous pride in being available to love on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Audrey leaves to cherish her memory, daughters Angela (Lewis, Jr.) Booker and Veronica (Foundation) One, brother, Roosevelt (Kim) Logan, Jr., sisters, Susie Mae Logan and Luetisia Logan, 20 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a host of other nieces, nephews and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Lee (Gaines) Logan and Roosevelt Logan, Sr., son, Harry Pollard, Jr, sister, Dorothy Mae Pinder,, maternal grandparents, Gertrude and Willie Gaines, Sr. paternal grandparents, Victoria and Robert Logan, Sr., and great-grandson, Michael Davis, Jr.
