Amanda Dinette Green, was born August 17, 1963, and lived to the age of 62 on April
29, 2026. She was born in Denver, Colorado and resided in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Amanda was preceded in death by her mother, Mary A. Sneed, father Charles
Green and brother, Charles Green II. She is survived by her sister Charlene Green,
and brothers Timothy Sneed and Thomas Sneed; her daughters Brenittella Sneed,
SoDonna Green, Gwendoyln Green and Kayla Waters and a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great
grandchildren.
Our mother was the kind of person you didn’t forget after meeting her. She had a
way of making people feel seen, even without saying a word. Her laughter was
contagious, her smile constant, and her presence brought warmth into every
room she entered.
Life didn’t always make things easy for her, but she never let that define who she
was. She faced challenges with a quiet strength, carrying herself with
determination and grace. Even being deaf never stood in her way—it simply
became another part of the unique and powerful woman she was. She
communicated through her expressions, her kindness, and the way she showed
up for others, always fully and with love.
She was an entrepreneur at heart, resourceful and driven, able to build
something out of whatever she had. She didn’t wait for opportunities—she
created them. That same resilience shaped the way she lived her life: never giving
up, always moving forward, always finding a way.
But more than anything, she will be remembered for how she made people feel.
Loved. Welcomed. Understood. She had a gift for bringing joy to others, for
turning ordinary moments into something brighter.
Our mother’s life was a story of strength, laughter, and unwavering love. And
though she is no longer with us, the impact she made on everyone she met will
continue to live on.
She leaves behind a large and loving family and is survived by a host of family
and friends who miss her dearly.
