Addie L. Davis

Addie Lee Davis was born August 3, 1938 to the late Homer Edwards and Addie Moore, but; was raised with love by Edna Mixon in Bessemer, Alabama. She departed from us into glory on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Lutheran Hospital. Addie was united in marriage to George F. Davis, Sr. and together they were blessed with their children; Douglas Mixon, Sandra A. Mixon, Calvin F. Davis, Angel N. Davis, and Charles (Latoya) Davis. Addie was employed and retired from Fort Wayne State Developmental Center. Addie leaves to cherish her memory, her children; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.

Addie was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Davis, Sr., her parents, Homer Edwards, Addie Moore and Edna Mixon, her sisters; Louise Childers, Martha Edwards- Smith, Ruby Lee Armstrong, and Fannie Mae Edwards, her brothers; Tommy, Eddie, and Homer Edwards Jr., and one son; George F. Davis, Jr.
