YVETTE L. FELIX, 58, departed this life on Monday, July 30, 2018. Yvette is survived by her husband, Terry (Bud) Smith; children, DeShandra (Levi) Burnett, DeNita Felix and Ryan Felix; mother, Vernell Nelson; sisters, Gwen Felix, Sandra (Darrell) Davie, Maude (Tricee) Wilkins, Regina (Welton) Moore, Nina (Joe) Brownlee, Bernice (Will) Jones and Carol (Jerry) Nelson-Bolton; brothers, William (Bill) Wilkins, Steven Nelson, Johnny Nelson, Curtis (Tammy) White and Ricky (Jackie) Nelson. Service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018, at Greater Progressive Baptist Church, 2215 John Street. Viewing is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 2018, at Nelson Memorial Gardens, Inc.
