Robert De'Ongelo Thompson

Robert DeOngelo Thompson (Dee), son of Robert Thompson and Charlie Bowers-Hayes was born on September 11, 1971 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  He attended the public schools of Ramsey County, as well as, Indiana Purdue University of Fort Wayne.  He professed his faith in Jehovah God and his son Christ Jesus.  He leaves his life partner, RaShaunda Jones, and they were blessed with three beautiful children.  Dee was a hard working union member in construction and carpentry.  As a result, he was loved by many including his co-workers.  His influence will remain in the lives of all that knew him.  Dee left this earthly life to join his God Jehovah on September 3, 2019.  He was proceeded in death by his two beloved grandmothers, Rosa Lee Bowers and Ardelia Williams.  Dee enjoyed fishing, writing, playing pool, history and spending quality time with his family.  He was a deep thinker who spoke many wise words and enjoyed engaging in deep conversations.  He was very much a protector, a provider and a guide into the light of righteousness.  Dee is survived by his 11 children; Lamiya, DeAngelo, DeAngela, Solomon, Miyana, Mahogany, Sapphire, Jusef, Jeremiah, David and Aliviah.  He also had a total of fifteen beautiful grandchildren.  Siblings, Jackie Martin, Jamar Brown, Anthony Bowers, James Bowers, Twanna Thompson, Goldie Watson, William Leanyear, Myworld Hayes, Alvin Jones, Adrian Jones, Stacia Jones and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
