Jaunita (Lott) Nesbitt

Jaunita Lott-Nesbitt was born November 2, 1927 to Clorain Lott in Little Rock, Arkansas. In 1940 Jaunita married Buford Jackson, Sr. and to this union fourteen children were born. Jaunita later married Nathan Nesbitt. “Mother” as she was affectionately known as, leaves five generations to cherish her memory, her daughters, Lettie Jackson, Liz (Paul) Jackson- McNair, Patricia Soil, Lula Jackson, Ida Jackson, Harriet Jackson, Cora (Kenny) Jackson-Belcher, Lyn Jackson, and Annette Jackson; her sons, Dave (Vickie) Walton-Jackson, John Wesley Jackson, James Jackson, and Howard Jackson, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren, a niece, Barbara Cobb of Winn, Arkansas, a special niece, Joan Jackson of Marion, Indiana, and a sister-in-law, Quincy Warren of Marion, Indiana, along with a host of other family and friends. Jaunita was preceded in death by her parents, her one son, Robert Lee Jackson, husbands, Buford Jackson, Sr., and Nathan Nesbitt, a niece, Ruthie Hinley, grandchildren, Dwight Jackson Gage and Cassandra Jackson-White, three sisters-in-law, Cleo Allen, Ida Mae James, and Faye Tipton, and two brothers-in-law, James Monroe and Jerome Jennings.
